Sophia is a Choreographer and Movement Director based in London. From large dance productions, to nuanced movement coaching, she has worked with award-winning directors and photographers for international clients, delivering exciting and complex work on brief. Sophia is the leading choreographer for children and young artists, with an abundance of experience working with under 16s, across multiple styles of dance.

Sophia trained at The Arts Educational School, Tring Park. Her choreographic accolades in Theatre include winning the Joanne Marsden Blackwell Choreographic Award 2019 and winning The Barbara Sharples International Choreographic Award on two occasions. In 2019 she joined the Creative Team of The National Youth Ballet of Great Britain for their season 'Wonderlands' at Sadlers Wells.

Her choreographic credits include Television Commercials for TikTok, Pringles, crocs, Avon and ITV's Love Island, Music Videos for Gabrielle Aplin, Lilla Vargen, Courteeners and New Hope Club, as well as print work for Vanity Fair’s Suspiria-themed September issue.

 

Sophia's work has been selected for major film festivals all over the World, including Dance Camera West in Los Angeles, San Fransisco Dance Film Festival, Leeds International Film Festival (a BAFTA and Oscar Qualifier) and Screen.Dance Scotland where her film, BUNNY, won the Audience Choice Award. BUNNY has also been selected by Marquee TV to feature in their series 'Summer Shorts', was listed as a 'highlight' by The Dance Magazine between films choreographed by Will Tuckett and Alexander Ekman and received glowing reviews from Forbes and Dance critic, Graham Watts.
